Menteey provides an online platform that enables mentors and mentees to connect, schedule mentoring sessions, exchange messages, share learning materials, and participate in educational activities.

By using Menteey, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Use of Google APIs

Menteey integrates with Google Calendar API and Google Sign-In to provide scheduling and authentication features. All use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Calendar Access

By connecting your Google Calendar to Menteey, you allow the platform to:

• Read your free/busy information to show accurate availability.
• Create new calendar events for confirmed mentoring sessions.
• Read and update calendar events created by Menteey to synchronize session time, title, and Google Meet link.

Menteey will not modify, delete, or access the contents of any events not created by the platform.

Google Sign-In

When signing in with Google, you permit Menteey to retrieve your:

• Google account ID
• Full name
• Email address
• Profile picture URL

This information is used solely for authentication and profile display. It is not shared with third parties or used for marketing.

You may revoke these permissions at any time from your Google Account settings.

Content, Messaging, and Platform Usage

You are responsible for any content you create or share on the platform, including messages, comments, course materials, and session content. You must not upload or share harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.

Private messages exchanged between mentors and mentees are confidential and not shared with third parties. Menteey does not monitor or distribute message content outside the platform unless required by law.

Mentors retain ownership of the educational content, courses, documents, and materials they upload. Menteey does not sell or redistribute mentor content outside the platform or use it for commercial purposes.

You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting unauthorized access, interfering with platform security, or engaging in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

Account and Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support. Menteey may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive or harmful behavior.

Limitation of Liability

Menteey provides the platform on an “as-is” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Menteey is not responsible for any losses, damages, or issues arising from the use of the platform, scheduling conflicts, or interactions between users.
